What We're All About
LIDA Network is a digital media and innovation organization focused on fact-checking, climate literacy, financial literacy, promoting social justice, and capacity building for journalists across Africa. Launched April 13th, 2021, it was established to advance the cause of truth and accuracy in reporting, to help instill a culture of verification among journalists, and to promote accountability.
Its mandate is to strengthen Africa’s journalism sector to promote accuracy in reporting, and social justice and enable a media landscape that advances socio-economic development.
